Pigmented matt hot stamping transfer product for challenging substrates
PM Grade is a matt pigmented hot-stamping transfer product formulated with metallic powder, designed to deliver a consistent matt silver or matt bronze finish.
It features a high-performance size coat that ensures reliable transfer and strong adhesion across a wide range of substrates, including fibrous, coated, and porous materials.

Key specifications for hot stamping
Designed for use on a wide range of hot stamping machines, with typical stamping temperatures of 80°C to 130°C.
The optimum stamping temperature is dependent upon machine type and other application parameters, and the customer should determine to their own satisfaction the suitability of the foil application and press setup.
Substrates
Suitable for use on a wide range of substrates including various plastics (e.g. PP, PU), coated and uncoated papers and boards, printed and varnished surfaces, packaging films
and self-adhesive label stocks, as well as some porous and fibrous materials such as natural and synthetic leather and flocked surfaces.
Substrate suitability should be confirmed by application testing. Care should be taken when used on carbon-containing or acidic substrates, as these may affect durability.

Storage
Foils should not be stored or transported in direct sunlight, and should avoid extremes of heat and humidity, as well as condensation and undue pressure on the roll. Under ideal storage conditions of 5-25°C and 30-60% relative humidity, a storage life of 12 months should be possible.
