The PG grade is a versatile, general purpose matt pigment foil with excellent coverage and fine detail characteristics.
Key Features
The PG grade is recommended for a wide variety of applications principally in the graphics, self-adhesive label and packaging film markets.
Key specifications for hot stamping
Designed for use on a wide range of hot stamping machines, with typical stamping temperatures of 85° to 170°.
The optimum stamping temperature is dependent upon machine type and other application parameters, and the customer should determine to their own satisfaction the suitability of the foil application and press setup.
Substrates
Most self-adhesive label stocks and packaging films and laminates.
Coated and uncoated papers and boards, printed and varnished surfaces.
It is recommended that the suitability of the substrate for hot stamping should be assessed by the customer.

Storage
Foils should not be stored or transported in direct sunlight, and should avoid extremes of heat and humidity, as well as condensation and undue pressure on the roll. Under ideal storage conditions of 5-25°C and 30-60% relative humidity, a storage life of 12 months should be possible.
