The DGC grade is a versatile gloss pigmented transfer foil offering excellent opacity, strong coverage and crisp definition, making it suitable for a broad range of labelling, packaging and graphic applications.
Key Features
The DGC grade can be stamped on a wide variety of substrates, including coated and uncoated papers, flexible plastics, wood, leather.
Key specifications for hot stamping
Designed for use on a wide range of hot stamping machines, with typical operating temperatures:
Vertical, platen and clam-shell machines: 100°C - 120°C
Cylinder machines: 130°C - 160°C
The optimum stamping temperature is dependent upon machine type and other application parameters, and the customer should determine to their own satisfaction the suitability of the foil application and press setup.

Bookbinding and leather substrate materials.

Storage
Foils should not be stored or transported in direct sunlight, and should avoid extremes of heat and humidity, as well as condensation and undue pressure on the roll. Under ideal storage conditions of 5-25°C and 30-60% relative humidity, a storage life of 12 months should be possible.
